About Hospice of New Mexico

Hospice of New Mexico is a team of experienced staff and trained volunteers providing compassionate care and support for people who are near the end of life. Owned by local medical professionals, Hospice of New Mexico is dedicated to excellence in end-of-life care for New Mexicans.

We believe that hospice care involves a team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient's needs and wishes. Support is provided to the patient’s loved ones as well.

• Family is an essential part of hospice care, and we encourage loved ones to be involved
• Spiritual and emotional support are as important as physical health, especially at the end of life
• A person’s dignity must be respected throughout all stages of life
• Home visits by our professionals and volunteers can help you live more comfortably

Dr. Frank Torres

Dr. Torres is a board certified Medical Director, who has over 20 years experience as Medical Director of both hospices and nursing homes.

Cathy Conrad

Cathy is our administrator. Cathy has been an RN for over 30 years; she has a Master’s degree in Organizational Management and has been in health care management for over 15 years.

Jeff Garvin

Jeff Garvin is a Registered Nurse and has been involved in business, finance and health care in New Mexico for 30 years.
